Okay, I was just browsing the site and reading the rules, you know, trying to decide if I want to join or not...and I have a couple of questions, just trying to clear some stuff up.
1. It says "No breeding allowed for any character in TDM" does this mean cats cannot have kits at all? Let's say I want my cat Whitefoot to be mates with player x's cat Blackmoth...basically they can be mates but cannot have children? But then it goes on to say "If you really wish to ask the owner of your character’s mate if they want to too and take it all with pm."...Does this mean yes to mates but no kits? I'm rather confused...
2. I saw nothing regarding naming...Is TDM strictly "traditional" or do you allow wiggle room?
3. Also, if you purchase a Siamese, or Bengal...you say they won't "survive" and that they can have a mate but no kits...why can't they have kits? If they mate with a clan cat...the kits wouldn't be purebred so...the kits would have a better chance at surviving...if they mated with kittypets they they wouldn't have to worry about surviving in the wild...
4. Then you go on to say if you want them to have a second litter you have to purchase it downtown...again I'm still confused about litters here...
5. The whole NPC thing confuses me...NPC means "not played character"...so how can someone RP a character that is NPC...it makes no sense...
6. Not a question...but more of an opinion...I don't find it fair that if a Leader becomes inactive you will put the character up for adoption...why not just replace the spot with the deputy and pick another deputy? It's not fair for the member who rp'd the leader to just have their character that THEY created...just taken from them and given to someone else...that's like saying "hey...you didn't put any work into this charcter but John Doe is inactive with it so you can automatically have it cuz you won it blah blah"...well what if John Doe returns and see's someone else playing HIS character that HE created? Umm that is considered theft...and technically John Doe owns that character's rights...(if you wanna get technical)
I think this is all for now...sorry for the large amount of questioning but it is all rather confusing.
