One. The number one rule in TDM is to respect everyone. We know that not everyone will get along with one another but please take that through pms and especially not in the cbox.
Two. Please, no spamming. You cannot post more than six times in the cbox and no double posting in threads, unless they are character tracking threads in the Tracker board or in the Plot Branch board.
Three. Try to use chat speak as little as possible please and use normal words.
Four. No inappropriate content. (for example; porn, or anything too gruesome.)
Five. No more than one account.
Six. For those running their own Art Studio cannot demand claws when other members make a request. It’s too much trouble for the staff and besides the point for Art Studios is to help others out and have fun.
Seven. Make sure your display names are appropriate, do not have something like this “AngelPlayer_17,” especially in the cbox. You can customize your display name with symbols like {temp}est, but nothing more.

One. No perfecting your character when creating him/her. Everyone has flaws, especially with personality. Characters’ personalities that does not list any flaws or has too little flaws will not be accepted. Please keep your character realistic as well, such as no green pelt and no unusual color like purple eyes (unusual color can be bought in Downtown Mall.)
Two. You cannot make a disabled character like having a missing limb, tail, or blind, mute, etc. If you really want a character like that it must be purchased.
Three. You can only have up to seven characters per account (Usually I wouldn't mind and just ask people not to overwhelm themselves but sometimes I see people create so many characters but only rp a few and seven is pretty fair.) If you are at the max of seven characters and you want another one you CAN purchase that in the Paw Pad.
Four. No changing the character form or adding your own table.
Five. You can reserve up to three names in the Character Index thread.
Six. When making a Clan cat please read that cat’s Clan medicine cat/deputy/leader’s history. This way you don’t end up putting different names of the previous medicine cat/deputy/leader. For example, the Clan leader’s thread has the previous leader’s name as Hollowstar, but when you make your cat’s history, you cannot use a different name for the previous leader such as Rainstar.
Seven. You cannot create a character under the age of 6 moons. If you want a kit you must either purchase it in Paw Pad or adopt one when a new litter is made.
Eight. Keep track of your character's age please. Once your character is accepted it's bio won't be locked, but do not abuse it by drastically changing your character or anything or we will either ban you or prevent you from using your character.

One. We prompt you to make at least 100 words or more per post.
Two. Be realistic, no godmodding and power playing. Members who end up doing either of these things will be warned by a staff member.
Three. Reply to your threads when you are done your post not before. This means no posting your post saying in OOC that you will finish it later.
Four. We are not going to worry about how many threads you have with one character, but we do expect you not to overwhelm yourself.
Five. Swearing in IC is allowed, but for Clan cats curses must be “mouse dung, fox dung, mouse brain,” etc. However, please don’t go overboard with the swearing.
Six. No breeding (mating/sex) allowed for any character in TDM. If you really wish to ask the owner of your character’s mate if they want to too and take it all with pm.
Seven. We aren’t a site strict on grammar but we do want your sentences to make sense so please edit them before you post.
Eight. Cats such as Bengal, Siamese, or Bobtail are not allowed but can be purchased, but hairless cats are not allowed simply because they wouldn't be able to survive in the wild of this environment.
C L A N
One. You can only have two high ranked characters in TDM. This also means you can't have two of the same for example two Clan leaders. You also can't have your two high ranked characters in the same Clan, such as if you have a ShadowClan leader you can only have make a medicine cat. (The only reason why you can't make a deputy because if their Clan leader loses all their lives your deputy would have to become Clan leader.)
Two. Any cat can explore any board that isn’t in Clan territories. However, they can if you really wish to, just keep in mind that the Clan will attack you for trespassing in their territory.
Three. Forbidden relationships are not allowed like a ShadowClan cat and a RiverClan cat as mates. However, there is a Forbidden Relationship Cheat in the Downtown Mall that can give you a pass for this rule.
Four. Characters in Clans must be named accordingly by Clan life. Meaning they can't just have River, or Moe, etc and must be named according to their rank.
Five. Members are not allowed to create a cat from outside their Clan origin, like a kittypet, loner, rogue, other Clan. If you wish to create such a character it will be in the Downtown Mall. (However, if you have a loner, rogue, or cat from a different Clan wishing to join the Clan it must be done in IC where the Clan leader will judge whether they join.)
Six. For apprentices to finish their training they must do several ic training threads; means two hunting threads, two battle training threads, and three of your choice. And all these threads must be finished then your apprentice will go through the ceremony and become a full-fledged warrior. (Owners of Clan leaders choose which warrior mentors the apprentice but you can ask them if you have anyone in mind.)

One. Unlike actual characters NPC characters are not owned by anyone but can be controlled by anyone and there is no limit.
Two. NPC characters cannot have high ranks like leader/deputy/medicine cat.
Three. NPC characters don’t count as actual members of Clans so they cannot be numbered in the ranks. When listed in the ranks must have (NPC) with it.
Four. NPC characters can become actual characters when someone wants to create them, but have to ask permission of the one who created the NPC character even though they have little ownership of that character.
Five. You cannot kill off an NPC character without permission of the owner who made that character. The NPC character is created for gaining more room and helping members who ‘s characters have littermates/parents/friends in a Clan but don’t have enough muse or room for actual characters.
Six. You must have at least one actual character before creating a NPC character. If we find you making a NPC character but doesn’t have an actual character that is approved, that NPC character will be deleted.
L E A D E R S
One. Clan leaders must be more active than a regular character. That also goes for owners of a Clan leader since they are expected to attend the actual IC Gatherings.
Two. If the Owner of a Clan leader becomes inactive and didn't posted in the Absence/Leave board (meaning like gone for a month or more) or has left the site, the Clan leader is then put up for adoption. There will be an audition for this Clan leader and the one that wins this audition wins the character and control of the Clan. However, with every audition this leader takes they will lose one of their nine lives so after nine auditions (or less if the Clan leader loses any lives while role-playing) of that character a brand new leader will be picked. This way we don’t have to make a new Clan leader every time the owner of that character has left the site.
Three. When a Clan leader dies automatically the deputy becomes the new leader (must have an ic thread with the medicine cat at the Mooncave before becoming Clan leader). However, if that deputy is dead or gone inactive or has no owner then someone may either adopt that character or a total new cat can take the leadership, saying they have been chosen by StarClan.
G A T H E R I N G
One. Gatherings occur once a month on a specific date that can be founded in the Calendar. (In IC there would actually be more Gatherings but this is so members have a lot of time so there is officially only one Gathering thread between two Gatherings.)
Two. Clan leaders must attend the Gatherings, if they cannot their deputy must step in for them. If both cannot because the owners are absent or too busy with life then the owners must choose someone to temporally own their Clan leader/deputy.
Three. Instead of Gatherings being in one thread members can have their own thread in the Gathering. All four Clan leaders must be in one thread however and that thread will be titled with (Main) meaning that is where the Clan leaders will make their announcements and it will be stickied.
Four. Clan leaders are expected to make a list for these Gatherings on which cats in their Clans can go. They must be posted in the Attendance thread when the Announcement of a Gathering happening in a few days is posted. The attendances are to be posted before the beginning of the Gathering. Those owners that’s cats are not listed cannot attend these Gatherings.
Five. Clan leaders can only have four five normal cats of warriors, apprentices, elders, or queens, and two NPC characters listed. Medicine cats or deputies don’t need to be listed because they always attend.
Six. Gatherings are over in ten days or when the Main thread is finished. Any threads that are unfinished by then will have a week or two to finish. However, if they are still not done by then they will be sent to the Memorial.
Seven. Medicine Cat Gatherings are smaller so they don’t need to be in multiply threads and unlike Clan Gatherings they don’t happen every month. Instead they only occur when something interesting is in mind for site-wide plots or Clan-wide plots. When this happens a date will be set up and the thread must be finished in five days like in Gatherings.
B A T T L E
One. When Clans battles begin the board will then have "Clan battle" in bold. Instead of one large thread of the fight it will be like the Gatherings; in multiple battle threads to who wants to join the battle and choose who they want to fight.
Two. Battles won are based on the number of wins and loses in the battle threads and they must finish before two weeks which is when the Clan battle ultimately ends. Those that aren’t done will be judged and see who wins and who loses.
Three. The staff always judges the fights and chooses who wins or loses based on the number of wounds one opponent has and the severity of it. However, if you think the staff member isn’t being fair or making bad judgments please pm the other staff and they will have a look at it. In non Clan battles such as loners/rogues fighting loners/rogues or loners/rogues fighting Clans when trespassing, etc, it will be expected that the members themselves can judge the fight fairly. However, if you think the member is fighting unfairly don’t hesitate to tell a staff member.
Four. If your opponent runs away during the fight it is considered a forfeit and the other character will automatically win the fight.
Five. A character can only have up to two Additional Points, (for Clans they only are able to posses one additional point if fighting in their territory or in familiar ground.) which can be purchased in the Tactic Shop. This way a member doesn’t buy at least fifty additional points for their fight and is fair. When you buy an Additional Point make sure you put it down somewhere in your character tracking thread or signature with the character you want to have it so we know that you have this point, and please don’t put it down if you haven’t bought it because we will know if you did and you will be banned to buying Additional Points for a week. Remember Additional Points are temporary so once you use it its gone and there is no expiry.
Six. All characters in a fight have one dodge point. When in a fight please put your points down somewhere in OOC along with the Additional Points you have bought for your character (a Clan cat fighting in their home territory or in familiar ground receives a free Additional Point and must also be put down.) Once you use a dodge point or any of the Additional Points you must put decrease that number by one so we know you used it, for example, Dodge: 1, and you use it, Dodge: 0.
Seven. Please don’t make fights last too long; twenty posts of both sides should be long enough.
Eight. Your character can have a 1 on 1, to 1 on 3, 2 on 3, 2 on 3, or 3 on 3 fight but no more than that. If you are facing three opponents you can bring in a character of your own and ask a member to help you.
C L A I M I N G . T E R R I T O R Y
One. For Clans taking territory from another Clan and has managed to win the battle has full claim to the board they targeted but it will not be moved in their category. Instead the board will have “Claimed by (whatever Clan)” and cats from that Clan can roam in that board without worrying of trespassing.
Two. Clan leaders who wish to have a territory in one of the Clans, must pm the admins and warn the Clan you are attacking by pming the owner of their Clan leader. This way the Clan has a fighting chance for the territory.
Three. Any territory that has been stolen will have a week of immunity. When that expires any Clans are free to steal it back.
New rules will be put in some kind of color.
